Ladies and gentlemen before I start, I'd like to say a few things
I want to make it clear that I do not view Rightburst as this entirely evil individual who could do no right. Rightburst is still a person, and should be treated as such. I however believe in holding someone accountable and rightfully calling them out when they continue to make mistakes, which is the reason I am making this video. Rightburst is an impulsive individual who continues to make the same mistakes as he does not learn from them.
That also means that I highly advise that as soon as you read this statement not to go and attack the guy, let's be mature here. Instead I only ask that you take the information and this video and use it to form your opinion based on how you feel about it. Which means that whatever conclusion you come to I will respect it even if I may disagree with it.
In the case that you haven’t seen Rightburst’s recent tweets (which he deleted because someone with actual common sense likely told him how much of a child he behaves like), here is the screenshot:
Now, do I even need to explain how much of a ridiculous and hypocritical of a choice it was to even bring this up in the first place? Unfortunately, yes, because too many people place their trust in this goober.
To provide context for this screenshot, I had thought of and had brought up the idea of approaching Jesterfrog in an act of desperation to find out if the instrumental for the Silly.tiff song that was set to appear in the original Vs. Sonic.exe mod could be used.
I will admit that I knew at the time of what Jesterfrog had done (owning CP) and for that I completely own up to my mistake. However, I would also like to state that this was an idea that was brought up solely out of impulse/desperation and not rational thinking, and we never went through with it. Overall, this was very clearly a bad suggestion on my part.
This was something that I had come to realize the day after I confirmed that we were, in fact, not doing this.
Things are already looking great for Rightburst, aren’t they?
Allow me to explain how hypocritical this is:
The reason as to why this is hypocritical is because Right Boy over here affiliated with Avery and worked with him on both his projects and exes, despite knowing just how twisted and manipulative Avery was.
The difference is day and night here, folks.
I also feel it’s important to address that I am not holding past mistakes this bozo has made over him today. If anything, I am holding what this idiot is currently doing against him.
He continues to repeat the same mistakes over and over of outright slandering those he dislikes, making his entire apology and accountability for his actions (including but not limited to the Revie controversy) seem ingenuine, only being done to save his own skin. A big issue is that people constantly both forgive and downplay his actions with the excuse of him being a kid.
This guy is 17, and he’s still doing the same stupid shit over and over without ever learning from his mistakes. He’s not a child, he’s a douche teen who is actively choosing the decisions he makes, only backpedaling whenever he gets called out on them (and rightfully so).
By now, he should be fully aware of the consequences of his actions considering he has to constantly delete tweets that make him look bad after receiving word from the IT department, go on “breaks”, and give half-assed apologies that he will not honor.
To close this off, I would like to address some of the “accusations” made to make me look worse without context.
Was I a director for the Vs. Sonic.exe mod?
Yes, for about a month before I chose to step down myself. This was before the Revie controversy, and I stepped down because I felt like I couldn’t direct the project. Unlike certain others at the time, I wasn’t so hellbent on having a title to the point where I intentionally slandered those around me to have that role unlike others at the time.
Am I hypocrite for calling the mod “mediocre” despite having worked on it in the past?
No, as I am allowed to change my opinion over time based on my personal experiences and subjective view on the manner. I am not speaking for you. Me creating/scrapping concepts is also not hypocritical as I was actively trying to create something that was not mediocre.
Was I running away from the situation?
No, as I have the right to not have to justify anything to anyone considering I stated that I wanted to move on since the situation was not nearly as deep as people were making it out to be. I have made it very clear in the past that I do not wish to use my platform for any drama-related issues, so it should be rather obvious as to why I choose not to indulge in it. At this point, however, I have become exhausted of having to deal with this numbskull and the abuse of the lack of context provided in a malicious attempt to drag my reputation across the dirt.
“We had expectations! Aren’t you better than this?”
Just because you all view me as someone in a “higher” position, it does not mean that I don’t get to be a normal person like everyone else and hold a certain disdain towards others. If I don’t want to like someone, then that’s that. I have no obligation to try to “fix” things or speak with them, as that is a choice that I get to make for myself. In the real world, not everyone gets along, and that is perfectly okay. I would appreciate it if I wasn’t indulged in this further, thank you.
